How Bug Evolution bugs work
In Bug Evolution, every player starts as a tiny spider. You eat food orbs and smaller insects such as ants and crickets to gain XP and coins, pick an upgrade each time you level, and once you meet a bug's level and coin requirement you can evolve into it. After evolving you start growing again as the new bug, so each form is a fresh climb rather than a cosmetic skin.
The evolve screen shows each option's stats side by side, so compare them before you spend coins. The steps are in the guide on how to evolve in Bug Evolution, and the fastest ways to reach each requirement are in level up fast in Bug Evolution.
Which Bug Evolution bug to pick first
The first choice is Grasshopper or Housefly. The Housefly needed level 12 and 200 coins in a walkthrough published on October 27, 2026, and its big advantage is flight: it can lift off to escape bigger players. Grasshopper's requirement and strengths were not shown, so check its stats on the evolve screen before deciding.
If you keep getting eaten by bigger players, flight is the safer pick. The Bug Evolution PvP guide covers how to stay alive while you grow, and the Bug Evolution upgrades guide explains which level-up picks suit each plan.
More Bug Evolution bugs are coming
Corgi Crew's description on Roblox says new bugs are coming soon, and Black Widow already appears as a Tracking quest. We add a bug here only when gameplay footage or the developer shows it, and we leave stats out until they are shown in game. Bug names that only appear on copy-paste wiki sites are not listed.
